Slater and the Nelson Center for Entrepreneurship held a special Summer Sushi networking event to celebrate the latest graduates of Brown University’s venture accelerator, the Breakthrough Lab (B-Lab). The event drew a mix of technologists, investors, and entrepreneurs to meet the young B-Lab entrepreneurs from Brown and RISD who were learning how to turn their innovations—spanning business sectors from solar energy to high-energy foods, from technical clothing to big data—into meaningful and sustainable ventures.
