About This Event

Among the more promising applications of artificial intelligence in healthcare is facilitating faster, more accurate diagnoses. AI has demonstrated success in facilitating differential diagnoses for radiology and pathology and poses enticing possibilities for more general point-of-care applications. In this panel, technologists and researchers who are pushing the boundaries of AI in healthcare will share their views on how AI is transforming the diagnostic process. Among the topics to be discussed are:

  • • Different technological/algorithmic approaches to applying AI to differential diagnosis
  • • Key issues driving adoption of AI technologies among physicians and other practitioners
  • • Ethical issues associated with using AI for diagnosis

Who Should Watch?

  • • Providers interested in (and open to) computer-supported diagnosis
  • • Insurers/payers seeking to reduce cost and time-to-diagnosis (including for COVID-19 and long-tail diseases)
  • • AI technologists working on diagnostic applications of machine learning
